Valerie Velez

I am currently completing my Honours Project with the group exploring the bio-applications of nanomaterials. I have been part of the group throughout my biochemistry degree; contributing to our industry partnerships and working alongside PhD students to advance research on water remediating and pollutant degrading photo-catalysts.

Outside the lab I enjoy figure skating, socializing and reading questionable romantasy novels.
