Andreia Da Costa Tuna

I am an international PhD student from Portugal, born in Spain, where I completed my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Santiago de Compostela. I decided to continue my studies at the University of Coimbra, where I obtained a Master's degree in Medicinal Chemistry.

After completing my Master's degree, I was awarded several research grants, through which I worked with different types of nanoparticles. In December 2025, I began my PhD program, which focuses on the synthesis and characterization of aluminum nanoparticles and their application as photocatalysts.

In the fall of 2026, I joined Tito's group as a visiting researcher for one year.
